Taylor to Host Transportation Committee Hearing on Speed Cameras in Philadelphia

WHAT: The House Transportation Committee will hold hearings on House Bill 2233, legislation by Rep. John Taylor (R-Philadelphia), to use speed cameras to reduce traffic and pedestrian deaths on Roosevelt Boulevard.

WHO: Transportation Committee Co-Chairs Reps. John Taylor and William Keller (D-Philadelphia); Philadelphia Police Capt. Fran Healy; Clarena Tolson, city deputy managing director; Al Taubenberger, councilman-at-large; Jana L. Tidwell, AAA; Sarah Clarke Stuart, Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia; Chuck Farmer, Insurance Institute for Highway Safety; and family members who’ve lost loved ones due to speeding.
